Mounting systems: Installing solar systems quickly and safely

Mounting systems from IBC SOLAR are characterized by their fast installation, longevity and stability. IBC offers on-roof mounting for uncomplicated photovoltaic installation. Mounting systems for pitched roofs

Sloping roofs are the roof design most commonly used in Germany. They are ideally suited for photovoltaic installation, as they can absorb a large part of the solar radiation and convert it to energy as a result of being appropriately tilted. Ideally pitched roofs should be oriented to the south. Here the sunshine at noon is the strongest. As the name suggests, the flat roof solar system can be installed on the roof without complications and without roof penetration using the IBC AeroFix mounting system. The IBC AeroFix mounting system provides safe installation with low weight and high storm resistance. The stronger the wind blows, the firmer the system pushes itself onto the roof. So a high plant safety is given even in bad weather. Constant photovoltaic yields without failures are guaranteed.

For a flat roof: building protection mat

The building protection mat forms the bottom layer of a solar mounting system on flat roofs. It is imperative to reduce the pressure load of the seal by the photovoltaic system. In the worst case, incorrect or inadequate building protection prevents water drainage and damages the entire roof structure. In addition, the required materials for a photovoltaic flat roof include floor rails, supports, module clamps and wind sheets. For a pitched roof: roof hooks and more

The roof hooks are used to secure the mounting system. Since they are screwed directly into the rafters, they must be matched to the particular brick shape. Depending on the roof covering, hanger bolts, sheet metal clamps or trapezoidal sheet metal clamps can also be used as fasteners.

For the expert, one of the first steps in the planning of your photovoltaic system is to identify possible shadows that may affect the yield of the solar system.
